BIG BEND – The much-anticipated DJ Zwane Homecoming Birthday Celebration has been rescheduled to Friday, 29 August 2025, to accommodate headliner Blaq Major’s busy weekend performance schedule.
According to Sthembiso Ntsika Zwane, known as DJ Zwane, the change was necessary because Blaq Major is booked for two major gigs on Saturday, 30 August, one in Eswatini and another in Zimbabwe. “It’s better to have the celebration on Friday night so that Blaq Major can give Big Bend his full energy before heading to Zimbabwe,” Zwane explained.
Blaq Major, famous for hits like Sidakwe Sbali and Dali, confirmed he will be in Eswatini by Thursday to ensure a spectacular Friday night performance at Lismore Lodge.
This year’s Homecoming isn’t just a birthday party, it’s a celebration of DJ Zwane’s nearly two-decade career in the music industry. Since 2005, Zwane has brought some of the biggest names to the Lubombo region, with past editions featuring DJ Oros and Mr Chozen.
The festivities kick off at 2:00 PM and will run into the early hours of Saturday morning. The line-up is stacked with regional and local talent, including:
