MBABANE – Football enthusiasts are in for an exciting showdown this Sunday, as the Ingwenyama Cup Regional Championships reach their climax. Fans will enjoy a thrilling triple-header at Manzini Club for an affordable entry fee of just E30.
The action-packed day will feature two semi-finals, followed by the grand final. The fixtures were announced by Ingwenyama Cup Public Relations Officer (PRO) Nkosilenhle ‘Makawosi’ Masuku on Thursday during the Quarter-Finals draw.
Match Schedule:
1st Semi-Final: Amajukujuku FC (Hhohho) vs. Ubombo Flyers (Lubombo) – 9:00 AM
2nd Semi-Final: Nkwene Sundowns (Shiselweni) vs. Nsenga Comrades (Manzini) – 11:30 AM
Final: Winners of the semi-finals – 3:30 PM
The tournament champions will take home a cash prize of E42,500 along with the prestigious trophy.
Masuku encouraged football lovers to attend in large numbers and maintain good sportsmanship, especially while travelling to the matches. “This will be a special day as the tournament is now operating under a new format. Fans will get to witness all three matches for just E30,” he stated.
Additionally, a friendly match between team PROs, officials, and the Media XI will take place following the second semi-final, adding an extra layer of excitement to the day’s events.
