MATSAPHA – The Eswatini National Provident Fund (ENPF) says a new partnership with the Eswatini Revenue Service (ERS) is a win-win for emaSwati, promising easier access to services under one roof.

The two major public institutions officially launched their co-shared Matsapha Service Centre on Thursday, a move hailed as a milestone in public service delivery.

ENPF Chief Executive Officer, Futhi Tembe, described the launch as a “momentous occasion” that eliminates unnecessary inconvenience for members.

She explained that previously, people had to move between separate offices for tax and provident fund services, but the new shared facility removes that burden.

“By coming together under one roof, we are not only improving access but also building stronger ties for the socio-economic benefit of our nation,” Tembe said.

She added that the collaboration would foster knowledge sharing and innovation while strengthening both institutions.

Commissioner General of ERS, Brightwell Nkambule, told guests that the partnership was more than just a shared office space.

“It is a statement of intent to put clients first. This model demonstrates what collaboration can achieve when institutions focus on service delivery,” Nkambule said, noting that Matsapha is one of the busiest service centres in the country.

Nkambule also revealed that the two institutions are exploring opportunities to replicate the model nationwide and said it would help manage rising demand as ERS rolls out Presumptive Tax, expected to bring thousands of new clients into the tax system.

Tembe stressed that this initiative is not just about sharing a building but leveraging combined strengths to create a forward-looking model of service delivery.

“We are strengthening institutions to better serve the public and shaping the future of service in this country,” she said.

The launch attracted senior executives, staff, stakeholders, and media, all praising the bold example of collaboration.

Nkambule welcomed the ENPF team to their “new home” and encouraged emaSwati to visit the facility, saying, “Together, let us reimagine service delivery, collaborating, innovating, and extending our reach to every corner of this nation.”
