MBABANE – In just 28 days, Eswatini Positive News (EPN) has achieved an outstanding milestone—garnering 6.5 million views, marking a 24.1% growth from the previous month.

The publication’s inspiring and constructive storytelling has also led to a 31% rise in engagement, with over 704 000 interactions, and a notable 12 000 net new followers, underscoring a growing demand for uplifting content in the Kingdom and beyond.

This data, captured between May 20 and June 16, 2025, highlights EPN’s role as a beacon of hope and positivity in digital media. The professional dashboard also shows that videos account for over 92.6% of new followers, confirming that visually engaging content continues to drive meaningful connections. With over 88 000 total followers, EPN’s reach extends across Swaziland (53.9%), South Africa (20.3%), Nigeria, and Zambia, proving that the ripple effect of good news knows no borders.

Interestingly, photo-based content surged by 796% in performance over the last 7 days, becoming the most effective format in the period. Multi-photo posts followed closely, while links showed modest performance—demonstrating the power of visual storytelling in engaging diverse audiences.

In terms of engagement, videos dominate at 54.5%, followed by multi-photo posts (21.7%), while the most engaged age group is 25–34 years, mostly male (60.5%), suggesting strong youth interest in the platform’s content.

Despite receiving a platform warning for repeated rule violations—currently under review—the EPN team remains committed to following guidelines while fulfilling its mission.

“As a company, we are grateful to the team that is actually working hard to compile and disseminate the right news. We are also grateful to our followers who interact and further forward us information for our stories. We are also grateful to government for believing in us to disseminate positive news and the Emaswati who are doing the positive work in the Kingdom to inspire the youth that a lot of good is happening around. As a publication, we have a mandate to tell the positive stories happening both in and out of the country while also contributing to mindset change, ”said EPN Director Mbongeni Ndlela.

This remarkable digital success affirms that positivity is powerful—and contagious. With a growing local and international audience, EPN continues to shape the narrative, proving that celebrating progress, peace, innovation, and community triumphs is the future of responsible journalism.
