MBABANE – Local is lekker!

The third edition of Musical War, an exciting event of local artists held on Saturday (July 27, 2024), at the Mdzimba View Shisanyama, proved to be a massive success, with a huge turnout of music lovers.

The event director, Sibusiso Dlamini, known as Sbu de Drum DJ, confirmed this during an interview with the publication.

“The show was great, and everything went well. The Eswatini Musical War saw around 1 200 people attend. The music was on another level, and the DJs brought their A game. It was really fire, and if you were not there, you really missed big time,” Dlamini said.

The event was a celebration of the immense talent of local artists from across the country, which were provided with a platform to showcase their skills. The event was aimed to support and uplift local talent, providing them with an opportunity to gain exposure and establish themselves within the music industry.

This initiative was not only a testament to the abundance of talent present in the country, but also a celebration of the rich cultural heritage that Eswatini possesses.

Dlamini further expressed his gratitude to the local audience for their enthusiastic support. Audiences from all corners of the country flocked to the venue to witness the music war zone, an experience that left a lasting impression on both the performers and the spectators.

“We are so grateful for a local show to have this many fans, and following it really humbles us a lot,” Dlamini said.
