ESWATINI TV PARTNERS WITH SSA FOR FOOTBALL BROADCASTS

MBABANE – Eswatini Television Authority (ETVA) is bringing the excitement of local sports right into your living room!

Thanks to a new partnership with the Eswatini Schools’ Sports Association (SSA), ESTV will be broadcasting SSA football games starting from June 9, as part of its commitment to increasing local content on television.

This exciting initiative, which officially kicked off yesterday, is a celebration of Eswatini’s young football talent and offers viewers the chance to watch thrilling sports action from the comfort of their own homes. According to Nomcebo Malinga, ESTV Senior Marketing Communication and Brand Officer, the partnership aims to not only promote local football but also highlight up-and-coming sports stars.

“The games will be broadcast at prime times to ensure maximum viewership,” Malinga shares. “On weekdays, you can tune in from 8-10 PM on Thursdays, while on Saturdays; the games will air from 5-7 PM.”

As Malinga explains, these broadcasts will showcase young football players who are at the beginning of their careers. “These games will feature athletes with raw talent, eager to make a name for themselves. The partnership, which also includes Instacash, is designed to celebrate and nurture young talent in Eswatini’s football scene. In addition to airing the live games, Eswatini TV will also feature replays and highlights, ensuring that fans can stay up-to-date with all the action.
