…..The country’s medical scheme is bringing its services closer to members and the public at this year’s Trade Fair, offering visitors an opportunity to understand their benefits, resolve membership queries and engage directly with EswatiniMed officials at its Hall 1 stand.

MANZINI— Visitors to this year’s Trade Fair will have another reason to make a stop at Hall 1, where EswatiniMed is bringing healthcare information and member services directly to the public.
The EswatiniMed stand, housed in the only double storey structure in the hall, is expected to become an important point of engagement for
members seeking answers about their medical scheme, benefits and access to healthcare services.
Rather than simply showcasing its services, EswatiniMed will use the Trade Fair as an opportunity to engage directly with members and the wider public, helping them understand their medical cover and address questions relating to their membership.
Visitors will be able to approach the EswatiniMed team with questions about their medical benefits, membership, contributions, claims and procedures, as well as how to access healthcare services.
For people who may not always have the opportunity to visit EswatiniMed offices, the Trade Fair provides a more accessible environment in which to seek information and speak directly to representatives.

Mkhonta said the organisation wants visitors to make full use of the opportunity.
“We warmly welcome everyone to come and experience EswatiniMed at the Trade Fair. This is an opportunity for us to engage directly with our members and the public, answer their questions and help them better understand their medical benefits.”
Mkhonta said healthcare information should not be complicated or intimidating for members.
“Healthcare can sometimes be complicated, and we want to make it easier for people to understand what they are entitled to and how they can make the best use of their cover. We want people to come with their questions and have those conversations with our team.”
He said direct interaction with members was also important in strengthening the relationship between EswatiniMed and the people it serves.
“If there is something about your membership, benefits or access to healthcare that you have always wanted to understand, come and talk to us. Our team will be there to listen, assist and provide the information you need.”
The stand is therefore positioned as more than a conventional exhibition space. It is intended to become a place where visitors can stop, ask questions and leave with a clearer understanding of their healthcare cover.
The public engagement is also expected to appeal to people who may have questions about their medical scheme but are unsure where to begin.
