MBABANE – Nsingizini Hotspurs are top of the table after recording four straight wins in the MTN Premier League.
They now lead Royal Leopard with two points with five games remaining before the curtains falls in the 2024/ 25 season. Their latest victim was Ezulwini United who they beat 2-0 during the Easters actions, game played at Simunye Sports Ground.
Before beating Ezulwini United, they beat another challenging side, Green Mamba 1-0 while they had also won 2-0 against Madlenya who are set for the axe and their first win in the four matches saw them beating Illovo 4-0.
Ngingizini Hotspurs sit top of the table with 48 points while the Royal Eswatini Police Services (REPS) side, Leopard are second on 46 points after the disappointing defeat to rivals, Young Buffaloes on Easter Monday. This was Royal Leopard first defeat of the season having gone 20 matches without a loss.
Nsingizini Hotspurs has been able to fully focus on the MTN Premier League after their early elimination in the Ingwenyama Cup won by Royal Leopard. They were chucked out by MTN First Division League side Red Rhinos in the in round 32 of the richest tournament in the country.
Green Mamba also let a chance of taking second position after playing a goalless draw against Manzini Sea Birds on Monday as they are third with 44 points.
The Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) is yet to release the match-day 22 fixtures as they action continues.
