MBABANE– Mbabane Highlanders AM have bolstered their squad ahead of the new season with the signing of gifted goalkeer Bongiswa Dlamini from Mbabane Swallows.

The Black Bull announced the acquisition in a statement, describing Dlamini as a player of proven quality and experience who will add value to the team’s ambitions in the coming campaign.

Dlamini joins Highlanders after featuring for the national team, Sihlangu Semnikati, and was part of the national setup as recently as June 2025. His arrival is expected to strengthen Highlanders’ goalkeeping options as the club continues its preparations for the new campaign that lie ahead.

Highlanders said the signing represented another significant addition to their squad-building efforts, with the club aiming to assemble a competitive team capable of challenging on all fronts.

The move is also a notable milestone in Dlamini’s career, as it places him among a select group of players who have represented all three of Eswatini’s traditional football giants. Having previously turned out for Mbabane Swallows, his switch to Highlanders sees him join an exclusive list of footballers who have worn the colours of the country’s biggest clubs during their careers.

In welcoming the player, Highlanders expressed confidence that his experience at both club and international level would prove beneficial to the squad.
