MBABANE – It will be happening at the Manzini Club as both the Ingwenyama Cup semi-finals would be played at this venue on Monday (March 10, 2025) during the holiday.
First to take center stage is Nsingizini Hotspurs Ladies and Royal Leopard at noon while Green Mamba and Young Buffaloes would be next at 2:30pm. The women’s team will battle out almost same time with the men’s teams that will be playing at Mavuso Sports Centre.
The winners of the semi-finals will then battle in the finals with the champions taking home E20 000 and the runner up getting E10 000.
The semi-final draw was also held on Monday. The women’s tournament started with 12 teams that are playing in the Women’s Football League. The women’s team are debuting in the Ingwenyama Cup and they received a sponsorship of E100 000.
Meanwhile, the were will be no extra-time if the teams play a draw during the regular time (90 minutes) but they will simply head straight to penalties to determine the winner.
According to article 7.3.3 of the rules and regulations “For the Semi Finals and finals, in the case of a draw during the ninety minutes (regular time), the game shall continue to penalty shoot-outs in terms of the Laws of the game.
