MBABANE – Joma Sport has sponsored a total of E650 000 for the Instacash 2026 School Sports, providing a major boost to schools and young athletes across Eswatini.
The sponsorship package includes E200 000 worth of branded kits for the top 16 schools, E300 000 in merchandise, and a special package worth E150 000 for the finalists. Both the finalists’ kits and tracksuits will be embroidered with their school names, giving learners a professional appearance and enhancing school pride throughout the competition.
Joma Sport General Manager Philani Xaba said the company values strong partnerships and believes investing in sports provides meaningful opportunities for youth to grow and succeed. “We work with athletes across the world and maintain close relationships with those who wear our brand. Our partnership with Instacash reflects our commitment to supporting sports development in Eswatini,” he said.
Xaba explained that sports serve as a pathway for learners to develop skills, build careers, and earn an income. “Football and other sporting activities can open doors for young people, giving them both personal and financial growth. We have also seen interest from other countries to partner with Instacash, showing the programme’s growing international recognition,” he added.
Last year, Joma Sport joined the tournament during the semi-finals at Nhlangano, providing new kits, track suits, and E130 000. This year, however, the company joined from day one to ensure that all participating schools receive support from the start, allowing learners to prepare fully and benefit from high-quality gear throughout the season.
The E650 000 sponsorship, including the top 16 schools’ kits, merchandise, and the finalists’ embroidered kits and tracksuits, is expected to improve learner performance, motivation, and school pride.
