NGWENYA– Young motivational speaker Khetsa Simelane is steadily carving a name for himself in the world of inspiration and self-development. His journey into motivational speaking was not born out of comfort, but out of hardship.

“I started the journey as a motivational speaker because of a number of harsh things I was facing in my life and I couldn’t get help to deal with them,” Khetsa explained. “Speaking became my therapy. I was talking to myself through my speeches, and over time, I realized I was healing and conquering.”

Khetsa’s speeches focus mainly on business, literacy, and self-development, areas he discovered during his inner battles. By studying and researching these subjects, he began reshaping his mindset and gradually turning knowledge into a passion. “I thought if I became wiser, smarter, and more business-minded, my struggles would ease. That process led me to inspire others through what I had learned.”

Recently, Khetsa launched his presence on Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, with the goal of documenting his journey and connecting with others. “At first, I wanted my words recorded so I could see myself from a different perspective and understand my struggles better. But I also realized there are people out there fighting silent battles. Through my content, I want to give them a new perspective, maybe even some answers they’re searching for.”

However, the path of a young motivational speaker has not been easy. Khetsa admits that being focused on subjects that are not always popular among young people has made him feel out of place at times. “Life hasn’t been easy since I chose positivity. I’ve taken risks, faced hurt, and gone through challenges, but I’ve also overcome. Using my own positive words and mindset has made me my own doctor, someone who can think deeply, question myself, and find solutions.”

Khetsa draws inspiration from powerful figures like Prince EA, Vusi Thembekwayo, and even some of Andrew Tate’s tough motivational perspectives, which he says made him stronger.

For the youth chasing dreams and ambitions, his advice is clear: “It won’t happen by accident. You need to constantly work on building the version of yourself you want to become.”

Looking ahead, Khetsa envisions himself on a global stage. “In five years, I see myself speaking around the world with successful entrepreneurs, while also being a brother, a friend, and even a father figure to those in need of guidance.”

Through resilience and passion, Khetsa Simelane is proving that challenges can be transformed into powerful tools of inspiration, not just for oneself, but for many others walking similar paths.
