MBABANE – President of Mbabane Highlanders AM, Shaun ‘MaMkhize’ Mkhize, yesterday met with the club’s passionate fanbase and charted a bold, healing vision for the team’s future.
The long-awaited engagement, held at CODEC, served as more than just an introduction, it was a heartfelt call for reconciliation, transparency, and a shared purpose. MaMkhize used the platform to dismiss speculation of tension within the leadership, particularly with former chairman Mr. Rubber Simelane.
“We are aligned. There are no issues,” she affirmed. “We’ve had extensive discussions, and we’re walking this journey together for the good of the Highlanders.”
Her message resonated deeply with supporters as she encouraged all members of the Highlanders family to embrace unity over division.
“If there are misunderstandings, let’s address them internally, as a family,” she said. “Only then can we protect our legacy and project professionalism to the world.”
The President’s address highlighted her intention to lead with integrity and restore the club’s competitive edge. “I came to build, not break. I believe in this club, and together we will rise,” she emphasized.
