MANZINI – Food vendors in Manzini will have an opportunity to take their products directly to consumers when Millennium Park hosts a street food market on 21 November, bringing food, music and family entertainment to the city.
The market, scheduled for 10am to 6pm opposite the Old Trade Fair, is expected to provide a platform for vendors to showcase their offerings while giving residents access to a variety of street foods and refreshments in one location.
Beyond the food on sale, the event will feature music and a Kiddies’ Corner, broadening its appeal to families looking for entertainment alongside the market experience.
For small businesses, such markets can provide an opportunity to reach customers outside their usual trading spaces. However, the extent of the benefits will depend on vendor participation, customer turnout and the sales generated on the day, organisers have opened applications to vendors interested in exhibiting their products, with the registration period closing on Friday, 23 October.

The market will take place at Millennium Park, a venue opposite the Old Trade Fair, and forms part of the activities bringing people together in Manzini through food and community-focused events.
With the event still weeks away, vendor participation and the range of products available will help shape what visitors can expect when the market opens in November.
