EZULWINI – The local gospel landscape witnessed a historic display of unity as the Mother of All Gospel Shows (MOAGS) officially set the stage for its landmark 10th-anniversary journey.

In a move that has sent ripples of excitement throughout the Kingdom, the festival has unveiled a powerhouse lineup that seamlessly blends international heavyweights with Eswatini’s finest vocalists.

The reveal took place during a high-energy launch ceremony at the Sibanesami Hotel on February 17, 2026. Led by the charismatic Master of Ceremonies, Mnqobi Tsabedze, the event transformed into a vibrant celebration of praise, drawing veteran icons and contemporary influencers who gathered to pledge their support for this decade-long milestone.

Visionary founder Nduduzo Matse declared that “Gospel will be transformed” through this edition, confirming that the marathon celebration will return to the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre on May 9, 2026. The event is set to be an “explosive” 18-hour experience, running from midday until 6:00 AM the following morning.

Fans can brace themselves for soul-stirring performances from a roster of elite ministers:

  • International Giants: Dumi Mkokstad, Sipho Ngwenya, Jabu Hlongwane, Sipho Makhabane, and Sindi Ntombela.
  • Local Icons: Nothando Dlamini, Linda Dlamini, Phetsile Masilela, Sphiwo Ndoni, and Ndumiso Zungu.
  • Spirit-Filled Favorites: Shongwe neKhuphuka, Mzayoni, and Banele Dlamini.

This 10th-anniversary milestone builds on the record-breaking legacy of the 2025 edition, which saw Eswatini’s own Sphiwo Ndoni solidified as a continental star after winning Best Africa Artist of the Year at the Crown Gospel Music Awards.

Beyond the main stage, the 2026 experience is set to expand into a holistic community celebration. Nozipho Gamedze, representing the Mayor of the Municipal Council of Manzini, welcomed the event back to the Hub City, confirming a dedicated Fun Fair for children featuring zip lines and electric trains.

To ensure a lasting impact on the industry, Matse announced a series of activation roadshows and educational worship workshops designed to sharpen the professional skills of local talent. This focus on industry growth was echoed by Mmeli Hlanze, Executive Director of ESWACOS, who emphasized the critical need for protecting the intellectual property of the artists involved as the society ramps up its national copyright strategy.

With the Destiny Group as main sponsors and the strategic backing of the Ministry of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs, technical production is set to reach international standards.
