MBABANE — Mbabane is turning up the volume this June as Fête de la Musique makes its highly anticipated return on Saturday, June 21, 2025.

From 3 PM onwards, behind the Ministry of Education at Alliance Française de Mbabane, music lovers can expect an unforgettable afternoon filled with fresh sounds, vibrant energy, and a whole lot of soul. This was confirmed by Cultural Coordinator Karyn Groening.

This global music celebration—born in France but embraced worldwide—has become a staple on Mbabane’s cultural calendar. And this year’s line-up does not disappoint. Prepare to groove with some of Eswatini’s hottest acts including Sarnilo, Zwile, Amarii, and crowd-favourite Stickx the DJ.

Whether you’re into smooth RnB, soulful jazz, punchy Hip-Hop, or Afrobeat rhythms that make you move, there’ll be something to tickle every music taste.

“This is a celebration of sound, culture, and connection,” said Groening. “We want people to discover new music, support local talent, and enjoy the vibe together.”

But it’s not just about the music. The festival grounds will come alive with food stalls, craft vendors, and refreshment stations, offering plenty to taste and explore between sets. Plus, it’s a family-friendly affair—kids under 13 years won’t pay entrance fee.
