MBABANE – The national women’s football team, Sitsebe campaign in the COSAFA Woman’s Championship ended with a 2‐0 defeat to Namibia on Monday afternoon.
The Bongani Makhukhula led side conceded goals in each half of the game and they are out of the tournament with South Africa’s Banyana Banyana progressing to the semi-finals from Group A after their 8-1 win over Seychelles. Sitsebe finished third on the group with three points from the 6-0 win over Seychelles in the opening match and lost 3-0 to Banyana Banyana to end their campaign.
