NSINGIZINI HOTSPURS LEAD AS EFA WOMEN’S LEAGUE REACHES MIDPOINT

MBABANE The Eswatini Women Football Association (EWFA) National League concluded its first round this past weekend at grounds across the Kingdom, with Nsingizini Hotspurs maintaining a flawless record to remain at the top of the standings.

By winning all eleven of their opening matches, the Hotspurs secured a perfect thirty-three points, demonstrating their dominance through clinical finishing and a solid defence that has conceded only four goals. This milestone marks the midpoint of the 2025/2026 season, highlighting the growing professional standards and talent within women’s football in Eswatini.

The league table reveals an exciting battle for supremacy. While Nsingizini Hotspurs remain unbeaten, Young Buffaloes sit just behind in second place with thirty points. Interestingly, the Buffaloes have a superior goal difference of positive eighty-one compared to the leaders’ seventy-six, having scored eighty-five goals in total. This shows the competitive nature of the league and promises an intense second half of the season.
