MANZINI — Choral music will take over the UNESWA Sports Emporium this September when the Ntjilo-Ntjilo Arts Festival brings performers and music lovers together for a day of live vocal performances.
Set for Sunday, 20 September 2026, the festival is shaping up as another addition to Eswatini’s busy arts and entertainment calendar, with the programme placing ensemble singing at the centre of the experience.
For choral groups, the stage is more than a place to sing. It is an opportunity to demonstrate the result of rehearsals, discipline and teamwork, with every voice contributing to the overall sound of the ensemble.
The Ntjilo-Ntjilo Arts Festival is also expected to attract audiences with an interest in live cultural entertainment, particularly those who enjoy the energy of a choir performing in front of a crowd.
The 2026 edition is scheduled to begin at 8am at the UNESWA Sports Emporium. General tickets are priced at E120, while VIP admission is E450, with tickets available through MojaTicket.
The festival is supported by several organisations featured on its promotional material, including Eswatini Red Cross, Al Mona Group and Montigny.
As September approaches, attention will turn to the choirs taking the stage and the different sounds they will bring to the festival. For audiences, it offers a chance to experience choral music outside the usual competition setting and enjoy it as part of a broader entertainment programme.
