MALKERNS– Just days after captivating fans during the popular Ladies Night Thursday event at Mzimba View and Shisanyama, South African Afro-soul sensation Mlindo The Vocalist is heading back to the Kingdom. This time, he returns as one of the headline acts for the inaugural Eswatini Kota Festival, joining an already star-studded lineup featuring music icons Ringo Madlingozi and Emtee.
The announcement has added fresh excitement to the festival, with music lovers welcoming the return of an artist who left a lasting impression during his recent performance in Eswatini. His quick return suggests that the Kingdom has become a favourite destination for the award-winning singer, whose soulful voice and heartfelt performances continue to resonate with local audiences.
Scheduled for 24 October 2026, the Eswatini Kota Festival will take place at Malkerns Country Club from 10am to 10pm. Organised by GoldEx Events and supported by Nyama Choma Spices, the event promises to combine great music with one of Southern Africa’s most-loved street foods, creating a unique family-friendly entertainment experience.
Mlindo’s addition strengthens what is already shaping up to be one of Eswatini’s biggest entertainment events of the year. Known for hit songs that blend Afro-pop and soul, the singer is expected to deliver another memorable performance, while Ringo Madlingozi will bring his timeless classics and Emtee is set to thrill hip-hop fans with his chart-topping hits.
Limited early bird tickets remain available, with general admission priced at E150 for adults, E100 for students and E80 for children. Family packages start from E200, while VIP tickets cost E800 and include secured parking, reserved seating and a complimentary kota. Parking will cost E50.
The festival will operate as a cashless event, with patrons encouraged to use bank cards for purchases. Camp chairs will be permitted, and only empty cooler boxes will be allowed inside through a pre-order beverage system set to launch on 20 September 2026. Organisers have also reminded attendees that no food, drinks, filled cooler boxes or hubblys will be allowed into the venue. No tickets will be sold at the gate, and there will be no pass-outs after 7pm.
With Ringo Madlingozi, Emtee and Mlindo The Vocalist now confirmed, anticipation continues to build as fans eagerly await more artist announcements. If the latest additions are anything to go by, the Eswatini Kota Festival is on course to deliver an unforgettable fusion of music, culture and flavour.
