MBABANE— A growing national movement dedicated to strengthening families and restoring intentional parenting is set to take centre stage this month as the second edition of Parenting With Purpose returns with renewed purpose and deeper impact.
The seminar will be held on Saturday, 16 May 2026, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Sibanesami Hotel, bringing together parents, guardians, mentors, educators, and community leaders for a transformative day of learning, sharing, and empowerment in a supportive environment.
Following the success of its inaugural edition, this year’s event promises more practical tools, honest conversations, and meaningful engagement around the realities facing modern families in Eswatini. The seminar will be facilitated by respected mentor and speaker Clement Dlamini, whose practical approach to family development and passion for building purposeful homes resonated strongly with participants during the first edition.
Organisers say the initiative has grown into more than just a seminar.
“Parenting With Purpose is not just an event on the calendar. It is a growing movement aimed at helping parents become more intentional, more confident, and more united in how they raise their children in today’s challenging environment,” said the organisers.
They emphasised that this year’s edition is designed to address the real and sometimes painful realities families face, while offering practical guidance and hope.
“We recognised that many parents are navigating single parenting, co-parenting after separation, work pressures, and emotional strain without adequate support. This seminar creates a safe space where parents can learn, heal, and gain practical tools they can immediately apply at home.”
Central to this year’s discussions will be themes reflecting the evolving structure of families in the country, including how single parents can thrive with strength, grace, and purpose, and how separated parents can successfully co-parent for the well-being of their children.
Beyond the presentations, the seminar is intentionally structured to encourage connection and shared learning among participants, reinforcing the message that no parent is alone in their journey.
“Strong families are the foundation of a strong nation. By investing in parents, we are investing directly in the future of Eswatini,” the organisers added.
Interest in the seminar has grown steadily, with expectations that the second edition will attract parents, caregivers, church leaders, counsellors, educators, and professionals from across the country who are passionate about strengthening the family unit.
Tickets for the event are priced at E450.00 per person, inclusive of refreshments, and are available through Smart Ticket. Early booking is encouraged as seats are limited.
As the conversation around intentional parenting continues to gain momentum, Parenting With Purpose returns as a timely platform reminding emaSwati that raising children with purpose, unity, and love remains one of the most valuable investments any community can make.
