POLICE HUNT SUSPECT AFTER DOUBLE RAPE, ROBBERY ORDEAL IN NGWANE PARK

MANZINI – Police have launched a manhunt for an unknown suspect who allegedly raped two women and robbed a family during a violent home invasion in Ngwane Park.

According to information gathered by the Royal Eswatini Police Service, the incident occurred between 3:30pm and 4:10pm on June 13, 2026, when the suspect allegedly jumped over a perimeter wall and gained entry into a family residence where several women were present.

The suspect is said to have threatened the occupants with a knife and demanded money. During the ordeal, a 26-year-old woman was allegedly forced to lead him to a bedroom to collect cash. Police say the suspect followed her and raped her inside the house at about 3:50pm.

After the attack, the suspect reportedly returned to the room where he had confined the other occupants before selecting an 18-year-old woman, whom he also allegedly raped at knifepoint.

The assailant then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money and several cellular phones belonging to the family.

Police have since opened investigations and are actively tracing the suspect.

The Royal Eswatini Police Service has appealed to members of the public who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area or who may have information that could assist investigators to come forward.

Authorities have assured the public that any information provided will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.

Anyone with information that may assist in the arrest of the suspect is urged to contact the nearest police station or report directly to investigators handling the case.
