MBABANE– After a convincing 2-0 victory in Botswana over the weekend, Eswatini’s Royal Leopard will once again lock horns with Namibia’s Young African, this time on home soil at Somhlolo National Stadium on Friday.
The police side displayed dominance in their previous encounter, with clinical finishing and a solid defensive performance securing them a comfortable win. As they prepare for the return leg, confidence within the Leopard camp is running high.
Head coach Frank Hurube expressed determination ahead of the clash, noting that playing at home gives his side an extra boost.
“We are ready for the Young Africans, and we will show them how Emaswati are when it comes to protecting home ground advantage,” Hurube said.
The highly anticipated fixture promises to bring excitement for local football supporters, who will be eager to see if Leopard can replicate their away performance and stamp their authority at Somhlolo.
For Young African, the Friday showdown presents a chance at redemption after their defeat in Botswana, but the challenge will be even greater against a Leopard side motivated by home support.
