MBABANE – The Shiselweni Regional Football Association (SRFA) has officially announced upcoming coaching courses scheduled for June 2025, aimed at enhancing the skills and qualifications of football coaches within the region. This notification, issued by Acting General Secretary Makhosazana Mabuza, invites all SRFA affiliates to participate in these important developmental programs.
According to the memorandum from the SRFA, an Intermediate Coaching Course will commence on June 2, 2025. This course is intended for coaches who already hold a Basic Coaching Certificate and are seeking to advance their knowledge and credentials. Following this, the Advanced Coaching Course is set to begin on June 9, 2025, targeting coaches who possess an Intermediate Certificate and wish to further elevate their coaching expertise.
Interested coaches are encouraged to register at the SRFA office, Mabuza further states that the registration deadline for the Intermediate Coaching Course is May 28, 2025, while the Advanced Coaching Course registration closes on June 2, 2025. Both courses will be delivered through, combining online learning with physical classes held on weekends at King Sobhuza Stadium.
The tuition fee for each course is E500.00, which must be paid into the Eswatini Football Association (EFA) bank account at Nedbank (account number 20000025896). Coaches are advised to use their names as references when making payments to ensure proper registration.
This initiative by the SRFA shows its commitment to developing qualified football coaches in the region, thereby contributing to the overall growth and professionalism of football in Eswatini. Mabuza further stated through the Memorandum that coaches are urged to take advantage of these opportunities to enhance their skills and contribute effectively to the sport at various levels within the Shiselweni region.
