Speaking about the event, Dlamini said, “Apart from being the event organiser, my role is to be a moderator on the day. This is my first time taking charge of the proceedings, and I take it as growth on my part. I have been organising such gatherings, and I wouldn’t be at the forefront, but behind the scenes, making sure that implementation is going according to plan.”

When asked about the mandate of the forum, Dlamini shared with this publication that the purpose of this forum is to bring reformation into the lives of women Eswatini by doing the following:

• Let go of traumatic experiences and replace them with positivity.
• Unlearn and learn.
• Thrive in adversity.
• Initiate mother-daughter bonding moments.
• Self-discovery and self-love

According to Dlamini, the reason they chose Mbele as one of the speakers was because of her openness and honesty in addressing matters. She said, “We’ve seen her speak about her vulnerability and naivety and how it affected her. She speaks about her highs and lows, and every time she speaks, there’s always something to take home.”

• Topics that will be discussed include
• Trauma experiences
• The basis of GBV
• Addressing chronic illnesses
• Mental Health
• Self-love
• Entrepreneurship
