MALKERNS– Music and fashion lovers are in for a treat as Luju Festival unveils its first lineup!
The excitement is palpable as the artists that will grace this year’s Standard Bank Luju Food & Lifestyle Festival stage have been revealed. The Festival will be held on August 1-2, 2025, at House On Fire ( Malkerns). Local and South African musicians have been featured, promising an unforgettable experience for all attendees.
As one of the leading food and fashion events in Southern Africa, the 2025 Luju Festival, 7th edition will be yet another wholesome celebration of the sophistication and elegance of African style, cultures, creative design, and delicacies. Last year, the festival saw over 10,000 attendees from 23 countries, enjoying 47 acts on five stages, six culinary showcases, and a regional fashion show featuring ten designers from Eswatini, South Africa, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, and Lesotho.
The festival, 7th edition was officially launched last week on July 4, 2025, by Prime Minister Rusell Dlamini, who emphasized its far-reaching impact on the community. He highlighted the festival as a platform for empowering local businesses and fostering economic growth, stating, “The Luju Festival is a shining example of sustainable and inclusive growth, showcasing the creative and entrepreneurial spirit of our culinary and fashion sectors.”

It’s worth noting that this is not the full lineup, with more acts set to be announced as the festival date approaches. This year promises to be an exciting celebration of music, fashion, and culinary excellence.
