MBABANE – Skip the Queues, Not the Vibes!
Starting tomorrow (27 May 2025), festivalgoers can beat the rush and collect their MTN Bushfire Festival wristbands ahead of the festivities kicking off this Friday, 30 May 2025.
The announcement was made on MTN Bushfire’s official social media channels two days ago. As with last year, early wristband collection aims to enhance convenience and reduce entrance delays.
The 18th edition of the MTN Bushfire Festival will run from Friday, 30 May to Sunday, 1 June 2025, at the lush Malandelas Lawn in Malkerns.
Gates open at 4:00 PM and close at 2:30 AM each day.

28 May: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
29 May: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- SHAKS CELLULAR – THE GABLES, EZULWINI
28 May: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
29 May: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Important Wristband Info:
Wristbands will only be placed on you – no stand-ins allowed.
No wristbands will be issued for Camping, Traders, Artist, or Media passes at these locations.
Bring your ticket printed or downloaded on your device for faster service.
Wristbands grant access for all three festival days (30 May – 1 June).
Do not remove or tamper with your wristband – doing so will void your access.
No wristband = No entry.
It’s worth highlighting that all MTN Bushfire 2025 tickets officially sold out last Monday, marking the 13th consecutive year of a complete sell-out. This year’s theme – Creativity. Unity. Sustainability. – will be reflected in a rich programme of music, theatre, dance, and spoken word, film, and family-friendly activities.
Recognised globally, MTN Bushfire has received the Most Responsible Event Award at the WTM African Responsible Tourism Awards and was named by CNN as one of the “7 African music festivals you really have to see.”
