MBABANE – Strengthening global partnerships is crucial for economic stability and resilience, King Mswati III emphasized at the Dubai World Government Summit 2025.

He called for greater collaboration between governments, businesses, and financial institutions to drive sustainable growth.

“Economic stability is the foundation of every government. We must explore alternative financial structures that support sustainable growth while ensuring our economies remain flexible and robust,” the King said.

He highlighted the importance of financial technology (fintech) solutions, urging global leaders to ensure that financial systems are accessible and inclusive. The King proposed seamless financial transaction systems between countries, eliminating delays that impact trade and business operations.

Eswatini is actively promoting investment in clean technology, energy, digital innovation, and sustainable agriculture, which are seen as key drivers of economic transformation. “Governments must create an environment that encourages creativity, diversity, and investment in emerging sectors,” he stated.

The King also pointed out that global health cooperation is necessary to build resilient healthcare systems, as the COVID-19 pandemic exposed vulnerabilities in many countries. He emphasized that digital health solutions, including artificial intelligence and telemedicine, will play a pivotal role in future healthcare transformations.

King concluded by reaffirming Eswatini’s commitment to contributing to global economic growth and governance reforms through strategic partnerships.
