Themba Thwala, manager of the Espinho Restaurant & Bar, emphasizes the significance of this gathering: “We are working on establishing a platform for cultural exchange with our neighbors, which is South Africa and Mozambique. Espinho, being the gateway into Eswatini from Mozambique via the Mhlumeni border post, becomes the best place to establish such cultural collaborations.”
He adds, “Most of our customers are Mozambicans, and we are expecting them to come for the event as well. We therefore felt it would be good to also host one of their own so they can feel at home.” This thoughtful approach aims to create an inclusive atmosphere, uniting diverse communities through music and culture.
