MBABANE – Mbabane Swallows is geared up for the match against South Africa’s TS Galaxy in the Mpumalanga Premier International Cup.
The two sides will face off on Saturday evening at Mbombela Stadium, with kick-off being at 8pm.
FC Augsburg are set to face Tanzania’s Young Africans in the first semi-final also on Saturday at Mbombela Stadium and kick-off is at 3pm. The tournament will then come to end on July 27, where TS Galaxy will face FC Augsburg. The games would be live on SABC Sport, as confirmed by TS Galaxy Chairman Tim Sukazi, who was in the country a fortnight ago to promote the tournament.
Mbabane Swallows Public Relations Officer (PRO) Knowledge Ngwenya said preparations were going well within the team and they are now ready to play.
“All is well in the camp as players are geared up for the game,” he said.
Mbabane Swallows will be using the tournament as part of their preparations for the CAF Champions League first preliminary round against Mozambique’s Club Ferroviario Da Beira and the start of the 2024/25 season.
Mbabane Swallows will intensify their preparations by playing in the Red Card GBV Tournament billed for Witbank, South Africa on August 3, 2024 were they will face TUT, with Nsingizini Hotspurs playing Middleburg United in the semi-finals.
