MANZINI- Eswatini artist Thaifo Son is preparing to give fans a memorable experience when he takes the stage at IF’s Lounge Manzini for Karaoke Nights on Wednesday, 24 June.
For the artist, the performance carries a special meaning as he steps into the spotlight as a solo headliner a moment he describes as a reflection of his growth and the journey of his brand.
“It’s very significant to me since I’m a solo headliner. It means my brand is growing,” Thaifo Son shared. “Fans can expect something different a vibrant and powerful soul-soothing performance.”
Music has always been more than just a career for Thaifo Son. The artist describes it as a space where he expresses himself fully, allowing his emotions to guide every performance. “Music is my safe space. It is me, it’s my life,” he said. “I don’t really prepare, I just pour my heart and soul into everything I do, so the fans can feel the emotion and connect.”
As he prepares for the IF’s Lounge stage, Thaifo Son says he wants supporters to experience a performance that goes beyond simply listening to songs, but one that creates a lasting connection.
“I promise to give a different approach and give them something they haven’t received from me before,” he explained. “I want to make sure they are able to remember and feel connected to me even after the event.”
Although he has hinted at bringing something special, the artist is keeping some surprises close as he plans to create a moment that will leave fans impressed. “I’d love to keep it a surprise,” he said. “Let’s just say I want to give a wow effect.”
Thaifo Son believes attending the event will allow fans to discover another side of him as an artist and experience the passion behind his music. “I believe coming to IF’s Lounge will give them a chance to see a different side of me,” he said. “They will get the opportunity to understand the emotions and fire we bring when creating the songs, and understand how fun and enjoyable this can be.”
Karaoke Nights at IF’s Lounge Manzini will take place on Wednesday, 24 June, from 6PM until late, featuring Thaifo Son alongside resident DJs and MC Thando.
