MBABANE – The CONDOMIZE! Campaign at the 2025 Eswatini International Trade Fair has been declared a major success, reaching hundreds of people and distributing tens of thousands of condoms over ten days.
From August 29 to September 8, 2025, UNFPA Eswatini, in partnership with the Family Life Association of Eswatini (FLAS), engaged communities, particularly youth,on sexual and reproductive health.
Over the course of the campaign, 51 000 male condoms campaign 1 000 female condoms were distributed, while 577 people received on-site health services
The campaign also promoted correct and consistent condom use, challenged myths and misconceptions, and encouraged informed decision-making.
A mobile clinic stationed at the Trade Fair grounds offered STI screening and treatment, family planning, and access to new biomedical HIV prevention methods, including the PrEP Ring.
Organizers said the high turnout and strong condom distribution underscored the campaign’s success in reaching young people with vital health information and services.
By combining education with accessible healthcare, CONDOMIZE! Demonstrated that awareness and prevention can work hand in hand to build healthier communities.
