MBABANE –Upcoming artist Tynicy has shared how industry pressure and personal loss are shaping his mental health journey as he builds his music career.

Speaking candidly, the rising artist said the high standards set by established musicians often make it difficult for new talent to feel confident. He explained that trying to match the level of already successful artists creates pressure, especially while still finding his own space in the industry. “The bar is too high,” he said. “It makes me feel like I am too low to fit in, even though I push my music on social media.”

Beyond industry pressure, Tynicy is also dealing with a deeply personal challenge following the recent loss of his father, who was one of his biggest supporters. He admitted that the emotional impact has made it difficult to return to the studio, but he is taking steps to recover. “My father supported my music. Losing him has been hard,” he said. “I am trying to see a therapist so I can get back on my feet.”

Despite these challenges, the artist continues to stay committed to his craft. He said writing and practising daily helps him maintain discipline and focus during this period.Tynicy believes that consistency will play a key role in his growth. He plans to release more music and make more appearances to better understand his strengths and connect with his audience.

“I think releasing more songs will help me and my followers see where I am strongest,” he said.He remains confident in the quality of his music, drawing motivation from the support he continues to receive from fans. Positive feedback, he said, has been a major source of encouragement during difficult times.

To manage his mental health, Tynicy relies on professional support and his growing fan base. He highlighted therapy and uplifting messages from followers as key factors helping him cope. His story reflects the realities many upcoming artists face, where ambition meets personal struggle, and resilience becomes essential for progress.
