MBABANE – It was a moment of pride and progress as General Moses Mashikilisane Fakudze, Commander of the Umbutfo Eswatini Defence Force (UEDF), officially recognized the achievements of a group of dedicated officers.

In a special ceremony, the officers were awarded certificates for successfully completing intensive training programmes that now qualify them as instructors.

The newly certified officers are now authorized to train others in three critical areas: Skill at Arms, Field Craft, and Signals. These competencies are essential for strengthening the operational readiness and discipline of Eswatini’s military forces.

By empowering these officers to serve as trainers, the UEDF is building a strong foundation for self-sufficiency and excellence within its ranks. The certification marks a key step in the force’s commitment to continuous development and professional growth.

General Fakudze commended the officers for their dedication, discipline, and willingness to take on greater responsibility in shaping the future of the Defence Force. This initiative is expected to boost the UEDF’s capabilities and ensure that knowledge and expertise are continuously passed down to new recruits.
