Siyabonga Mhlanga, famously known as Lastborn Heart Romancer, has finally dropped the official music video for his emotional hit eMhlaleni, featuring the charismatic Mr Kangaroo and it’s everything fans hoped for and more.
Shot by a talented crew of Limkokwing University students, the video captures the very heartbeat of the song: heartbreak, reflection, and the pain of losing someone. Lastborn says the students didn’t just shoot the video, they owned it. “They brought fresh ideas, chose the locations themselves, and nailed the emotion we were trying to tell,” he shared.
But it hasn’t all been smooth. The original video was taken down from YouTube just days after release, robbing the team of over 2,000 views. “That was tough. But I’m proud of the final product. It’s raw, it’s real, and it deserves a second shot,” said Lastborn.
And that second shot is now.
