MBABANE– Upcoming Hip Hop artist White Flame is preparing to release a new motivational single titled “2026” while also working on a five-track EP called “Solo Ngiyashizila”.
Born Malachi Dlamini, the 25-year-old rapper was born and raised in Fairview North, Manzini, before later moving to Mafutseni. He said both places have played an important role in shaping his music journey and personal growth.
The stage name White Flame reflects both his personality and artistry. “White” symbolises purity and authenticity, while “Flame” represents the energy and power people often associate with his rap style.
White Flame said his love for Hip Hop started after watching Nasty C’s “Hell Naw” music video, which inspired him to pursue music seriously. Since then, he has developed a style that blends English, Siswati and Zulu while staying connected to his roots.
Apart from recording music, White Flame also works in music production through his studio and record label, Hit Flick Records, based at Lichaga House in Manzini. The studio offers recording, mixing and mastering services, giving young artists an accessible space to create music.
“As an artist and producer, I want to create opportunities for myself and other creatives,” he said. White Flame has performed at different events across the country and shared stages with artists such as DJ City, Histo and Umfana Ka Gogo SA. He described performing live as one of the biggest motivations in his career.
His recently released EP, “inigga Kangwane”, is available on digital streaming platforms and features songs including “Sengifikile”, “Young Dreamer” and “On My Way”. The project was produced by Yiwa.
The upcoming single “2026”, produced by Far Q, focuses on goals, ambition and personal growth. White Flame said the track is meant to encourage young people chasing their dreams. He also confirmed that his upcoming EP “Solo Ngiyashizila” will feature no guest artists, allowing listeners to fully experience his personal sound and storytelling.
