MBABANE– Young Zesh drops new music!
NACA 2024 Outstanding Afro Pop Artist Young Zesh born Mzwandile Comfort Ginidza (24) has announced the impending release of his first single under his newly registered label, Mabona Bulawe Record on May 30, 2025.
The track, titled ‘Sengibeketele,’ is poised to make waves in the industry and is a heartfelt tribute to the unwavering support he has received from his fans. In an exclusive interview, Young Zesh shared the inspiration behind ‘Sengibeketele,’ emphasizing the importance of the people who have stood by him throughout his musical journey. “This song was inspired by my lovely fans that have been there for me since day one,” he expressed, highlighting the deep connection he feels with his supporters. The song aims to convey love and appreciation, serving as a heartfelt acknowledgment of the role his fans plays in his life and career.
Young Zesh is no stranger to the music scene, having previously released tracks that have garnered attention and praise. However, he describes his latest offering, ‘Bustard,’ as more of a bold statement rather than a conventional song. “My latest song ‘Bustard’ was just a statement to everyone, not a real song,” he explained.
When discussing the creative process behind ‘Senibeketele,’ Young Zesh revealed that the studio sessions were nothing short of electrifying. He collaborated closely with renowned producers DJ Citie and Jimmy Boy SD, creating an environment filled with creativity and energy. “DJ Citie and I created the song together. He was making the beat while I was writing the hook. It’s an African Trap song, produced by DJ Citie NTM. S/O to him for the wonderful work,” he said.
