MBABANE – Young Zesh launches cross-border collaboration with Yamke!

NACA Outstanding Afro- pop artist Young Zesh born Mzwandile Comfort Ginindza (24), is making bold moves across borders as he gears up for a ground-breaking collaboration with renowned South African vocalist, songwriter Yamke born Yamkela Sigagayi.

The exciting partnership will be unveiled this Sunday, June 29, at the vibrant Showflames Event hosted at Hotel Sky in Sandton, and followed by a high-profile studio session on Monday.

This opportunity is a direct result of the recent Eswatini Arts Summit, where Young Zesh wowed audiences and key industry stakeholders alike. Among them was Stanley Khoza, Deputy Chairperson of AIRCO (Association of Independent Record Companies), who was so impressed that he pledged to help elevate Zesh’s career to international stages. This collaboration marks the first step in fulfilling that promise.

“It is crucial that commitments made are fulfilled,” said, CEO of the Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture (ENCAC) Stanley Dlamini. “This partnership is one of the tangible ‘fruits’ from the Arts Summit, and we’re grateful to AIRCO and Showflames for delivering on their word.”

Dlamini emphasized that the Council remains committed to growing Eswatini’s creative industries through international partnerships. He also referenced the on-going success of Dzeli Mdluli, currently representing Eswatini at the BET Writers Room through a Paramount Africa collaboration—another win born from the Summit.

Khoza, in turn, praised ENCAC’s leadership for their dedication in turning vision into action. “We’re excited to see such follow-through. The Arts Summit set the stage—and now we’re seeing results,” he said.

An elated Young Zesh expressed his anticipation for what lies ahead. “This weekend is a dream come true,” he said. “I’m ready to share my gift with a new audience and grateful to Arts and Culture for continuously backing local talent.”

Khoza added that Sunday’s Showflames showcase is now in its second edition and serves as a premium platform for rising African stars to perform before VIP guests, media, and key industry influencers. “This is a space designed to unlock potential,” he explained. “It’s about giving raw talent the exposure it deserves.”

With his blend of passion, talent, and now, international support, Young Zesh is set to light up the stage—and the studio—this weekend in Sandton, as he takes his first official step into the South African music scene.
