MBABANE – Award-winning artist ZaiMarn and South African 3Step/Gqom sensation Zeh McGeba thrilled Mozambican audiences this past weekend with a whirlwind tour that fused cultures, rhythms, and electrifying stagecraft.

The three-day spectacle, which unfolded across Maputo from Friday to Sunday, blended South African beats with Mozambican flair, leaving fans clamouring for more.

The weekend kicked off with exclusive interviews on Radio Indica and Cidade FM, where the two artists teased listeners with snippets of their set lists and expressed their excitement about performing in Mozambique.

A Weekend of Non-Stop Energy

Friday night’s opening at Sky Lounge set the tone, as the pair delivered an energetic mix of 3Step/Gqom and Afro-inspired grooves that kept revellers on their feet. The venue pulsed with energy, creating a buzz that carried through the rest of the tour.

On Saturday, ZaiMarn headlined a massive show at South Beach, joined by Mozambican Amapiano star Bander. The evening was further charged by performances from Deckshake, South Africa’s DJ Qbase, and Afro House maestro DJ Pyto, ensuring the dance floor stayed alive until dawn.

Sunday brought the heat to Havana Pool Bar and Alzira’s Bar, where the duo wrapped up their weekend with back-to-back shows, both attracting large crowds eager to soak in the unique blend of sounds.

“Mozambique Showed Us Love”

Reflecting on the tour’s success, ZaiMarn expressed heartfelt gratitude:

“The reception was truly epic. Mozambique showed us so much love, and it’s only the beginning. We’re excited to announce that even more shows are confirmed for the end of September and throughout October.”

The collaboration between ZaiMarn and Zeh McGeba is more than just a musical partnership—it represents cultural unity and the powerful wave of cross-border sounds currently shaping Africa’s music scene.

With their dynamic performances and infectious energy, the duo has not only strengthened Eswatini, South African, and Mozambican music ties but also set a precedent for more regional collaborations in the future.

As anticipation builds for their next round of shows, one thing is certain: ZaiMarn and Zeh McGeba are redefining the rhythm of Southern Africa, one explosive performance at a time.
