MBABANE – Comedy meets love!
Kicking off 2025 in style, Eswatini’s dynamic comedy duo, Gogo Eswatini and S’lwane, will mark the season of love with “The Love and Laughter Fest,” hosted at the stunning Mantenga Cultural Village.
This carefully crafted event is designed for couples and those seeking love, set against the backdrop of one of Eswatini’s most tranquil and picturesque locations.
“This annual flagship event announces that we are recharged and ready to bring Eswatini and beyond our unique brand of humor,” said S’lwane. “We’re not alone in this; some of the kingdom’s finest comedians, including Mdura, Ndosh, and others, will join us for a night of laughter and joy.”
Beyond comedy, the event celebrates Eswatini’s natural beauty, showcasing the internationally renowned Mantenga Cultural Village. Known for its cultural tours, serene waterfalls, and scenic views, the venue offers a multi-sensory experience.
“We wanted to provide great laughs against the soothing sounds of waterfalls and rivers,” S’lwane added. “Guests can explore these attractions before the show begins, creating a refreshing and soul-cleansing experience.”
This year’s event emphasizes local collaboration, spotlighting Eswatini’s creative talent alongside regional acts. The lineup includes comedians Bongiswa and Darren, Ndosh, Mdura, and Dr. Shakes, as well as a South African ventriloquist from Mpumalanga. Adding a poetic touch are wordsmiths Festival B and Christian Maz. Fans can also look forward to the return of Hembe, a fan-favorite from Gogo Eswatini’s skits.
