MANZINI – The highly anticipated auditions for the Mother of All Gospel Shows took place on Saturday, and 34 finalists have emerged after impressing the judges. The auditions were held at the Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture in Manzini, where a panel of esteemed judges, including gospel artists Banele Dlamini and Mzayoni Tsabedze, evaluated the contestants.
The grand event, the Mother of All Gospel Show, is set for May 10, 2025, at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre, as confirmed by the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Mother of Gospel Shows, Nomalungelo Nhleko.
In a statement, Nhleko announced that registration for auditions has now closed, having opened on January 29, 2025. She noted, “People can look forward to the codes for the contestants to start voting for them. This year, the elimination will be on a smaller scale compared to last year, as the main focus will be on training the contestants.”
When asked about the training schedule, Nhleko assured that details would be communicated to the contestants in due time.
The Mother of All Gospel Shows concept was launched in 2016 by Ndunduzo Matse, who expressed that the show’s purpose is to foster growth in the industry and provide a platform for both established and upcoming artists to showcase their God-given talent.
