YOUNG ZESH SECURES TAIWAN GIG AT AFROPIANO SPRING FEST 2025

MBABANE – Welcome to Taiwan!

NACA 2024 Outstanding Afro-pop artist Young Zesh, born Mzwandile Comfort Ginindza (24), has reached yet another milestone in his musical career by securing a gig in Taiwan at the Afropiano Spring Fest 2025.

He will perform on 3 April 2025 at Pink B Bistro in Taichung, with his performance slated for 7 PM.

The talented artist shared the news on his social media yesterday evening about his next significant career move. He wrote, “Next week I’m taking to Taiwan to represent Eswatini at the Afropiano Spring Fest 2025.”

When reached for comment, the excited Young Zesh said, “I am so excited. It means I am on the right track and Eswatini music is making sense even abroad.”

When asked how the gig came about, he shared that he was booked via an email from DJ Kwenzie, born Kwenziwe Lukhele. “What makes me happy is that I am booked, and I am looking forward to representing my country well.”

He advised aspiring artists to always work hard and have the drive to succeed in this music industry.

Young Zesh has had a hectic first quarter of the year, as in January, he was featured on the song titled Mina Nawe by South African artists Senzo Africa, featuring Mlindo The Vocalist and Masiano. The song was released on all digital platforms on 31 January 2025.

 Last month, he held a successful one-man show at Polar Park and will also perform at the upcoming Makoti Festival next month.

Born in Somnjalose, Young Zesh is the brains behind the record-breaking song titled KaKhoza. Last month, he was nominated six times at the National Arts and Culture Awards (NACA), where he scooped the Outstanding Afro-Pop Award. The eighth edition of the NACA awards was held on 14 December 2024 at Esibayeni Lodge.
