MBABANE – It’s going down the wire in the MTN National First Division as three teams will battle for promotion to the MTN Premier League.
These are Lozitha Spurs, Amawele and Denver Sundowns while log leaders Malanti Chiefs are already the unofficially crowned champions and they will be lifting the trophy on Sunday (May 18, 2025) at their home ground, Killarney Sports Ground, kick-off 2pm.

Malanti Chiefs are top of the table with 46 points after 22 matches and they are closely followed by Lozitha Spurs on 39 points and Amawele are third with also 39 points and fourth is Denver Sundowns with 38 points.
There are two teams to be promoted to the elite league end of the season from the National First Division League while four are expected to be relegated.
Second placed Lozitha Spurs will play the uncrowned champions Malanti Chiefs while Amawele will be up against All Nations at Simunye Stadium kick-off 2pm with Denver Sundowns visiting Red Rhinos at Tabankulu Stadium, game starting at 3pm.
Meanwhile, according to the fixtures released by the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE), the action gets underway on Friday with relegation bound Pigg’s Peak Black Swallows playing Tabankulu Celtics at Prince of Wales Sports Ground, kick-off 3pm.
“This weekend, we will find out which teams are being promoted to the Premier League Division. It promises to be an exciting and decisive moment as clubs battle for a coveted spot in the top tier of the league. Let’s meet at the stadiums,” reads a statement from the PLE.
