MBABANE – And of she goes to Taiwan!
Hot off the heels of her sold-out live recording concert at the Mavuso Trade Centre this past Saturday, gospel powerhouse Nothando Hlophe is preparing to take her ministry global. Her next stop is Taichung, Taiwan, where she’ll headline the Glory Across Nations – Taiwan Edition on June 21, 2025, at Dayeh University’s M Hall.
Hosted by NikNak Events and Lokuhle Media Group, the event aims to bridge cultures through music, affirming Nothando Hlophe’s growing role as one of Africa’s most impactful gospel voices.
The past weekend’s recording concert, titled “A New Dawn,” sponsored by Eswatini Mobile to a tune of E500 000, was more than just a performance—it was a landmark moment in Eswatini’s gospel music scene. Thousands gathered for a night of worship that left no soul untouched.
Her voice, raw and powerful, led the audience through a set that included moving collaborations with Faith Khanyile, Sands, Xolly Mncwango, Ayanda Ntanzi, Musa Skhosana, and Rofhiwa Manyaga. The production matched international standards—with flawless lighting, sound, and visual storytelling.
Now, with “A New Dawn” recorded and the spiritual fire still burning, Nothando is set to carry that same energy abroad. The Glory Across Nations concert in Taiwan is not just another show—it’s the continuation of a mission. “This tour is about taking the message of hope and renewal beyond borders,” she shared. “What we started in Eswatini is only the beginning.”
Scheduled for June 21 from 4 PM to 8 PM, the Taiwan concert marks a new chapter for the artist—her first solo international performance since the live recording. With tickets ranging from NTD600 to NTD1000, the concert promises to deliver an unforgettable worship experience for the African diaspora and Taiwanese gospel lovers alike.
As Eswatini reflects on the power of “A New Dawn,” the world watches in anticipation. The stage is set, the mission is clear—from Mavuso to the nations, Nothando Hlophe is just getting started.
