MBABANE – Preparations for the 57th edition of the Eswatini International Trade Fair are 85 percent complete, with organisers confident everything will be ready for the grand opening on August 29, 2025.
According to Siphesihle Nkhabindze, Manager of Domestic Trade at the Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA), exhibitors have already begun setting up stalls at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre.
“ Today Wednesday and Thursday, we will be pushing through the last mile to ensure we are fully ready for our first day on Friday. Companies are almost there, and we are still assessing to make sure everything is safely in place,” she said.
This year’s trade fair will not only showcase business and innovation but will also feature cultural and sporting activities. The opening day will include Fit Friday, a wellness event featuring aerobics, light training, and health awareness sessions.
On Saturday, attention will shift to the beauty industry, with experts conducting discussions on skincare and hygiene under the Club With Us programme.
The popular Win a Car competition will also make a return, adding excitement to the 11-day event, which concludes on September 8, 2025.
Nkhabindze affirmed that preparations are on track. “It is all systems go. We are making sure everything is ready to welcome both exhibitors and visitors to an unforgettable trade fair experience.”
