MBABANE – There is renewed hope for Eswatini netball after Instacash confirmed that it will be sponsoring the sport this year.
The announcement was made today during the Pine Valley Football Club kit presentation held at the Instacash Service Centre. Speaking at the event, Instacash Head of Commercial projects, Siphesihle Phakathi, revealed that the company has broadened its sponsorship scope beyond football to include other sporting codes, starting with netball.
Phakathi explained that the decision came after concerns were raised that Instacash focused exclusively on football sponsorship. He emphasized that as a brand committed to community development, Instacash recognizes the importance of empowering all athletes across different disciplines.
“What us exciting this year is tgat we have sponsored netball regionally because we have had complaints from the public that as InstaCash we only support football.” Said Phakathi
This move has been welcomed as a major boost for the netball fraternity in Eswatini, which has often struggled with limited financial backing. The sponsorship is expected to strengthen the development of the sport, encourage participation, and provide necessary resources for athletes to compete at higher levels.
The Pine Valley kit presentation not only highlighted Instacash’s ongoing support for football through its partnership with Big C Print Works but also served as a platform to signal a new chapter of inclusivity in sports sponsorship.
With this commitment, Instacash has positioned itself as a key partner in driving sports growth in Eswatini extending hope, resources, and recognition to netball players and fans alike.
