MANZINI– Not your average Teachers’ Day celebration!
The 2025 SNAT Teachers’ Day Bash is turning into a music lover’s dream, bringing together some of Eswatini’s finest artists alongside South Africa’s heavy hitters. The celebration will take place at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre on 24 October 2025.
Among the local acts set to grace the stage are local gospel icon Phathwakahle Mabuza, award-winning Linda Dlamini, M Nation (Wandile Ndlovu), Zaimarn (Zama Maseko), Afro-pop sensation and 2024 NACA Award winner Young Zesh (Mzwandile Ginindza), DJ Cup (Zama Welcome Maseko), Culolami Dlamini, Trend Twins, DJ Lolo,Tibza Tubuko Nxumalo, Cybos (Sibongiseni Lukhele), Lady Zee, DJ MBO (Mbongiseni Sithungo), Jerry P., Diba Diba, MC Pelo and Maye.
They’ll be sharing the stage with South African stars Sjava(Jabulani Hadebe), Umafikizolo, and Magumba hit-maker Khadeair, who will headline the SNAT Teachers’ Day Bash after-party, promising a night of soulful performances and unforgettable entertainment.
The local line-up was unveiled by the SNAT Platform and New Life Entertainment, the event’s curators. Their inclusion reflects a growing movement to celebrate and uplift Eswatini’s creative talent by giving home-grown artists a platform at major national events.
“Including local artists isn’t just about filling a line-up, it’s about building pride and giving Eswatini’s music industry the recognition it deserves,” said Thembinkosi Mthethwa from New Life Entertainment. “Our teachers are the backbone of the nation, and what better way to celebrate them than with the sounds of their own people.”
The entertainment line-up and logistics will be managed by New Life Entertainment, following a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed with the Swaziland National Association of Teachers (SNAT) in 2024. The agreement promotes collaboration in cultural and entertainment events that celebrate the teaching profession and the broader Eswatini arts scene.
Tickets for the Teachers’ Day Bash After-Party are already on sale via Computicket, Howler, and Pick n Pay Moja Ticket. Tickets are set at E50 for SNAT members and E200 for non-members, while cooler boxes will be allowed for E100.
Founded in 1928, SNAT remains Eswatini’s longest-standing teachers’ union and a strong advocate for community development. Through its partnership with New Life Entertainment, it continues to blend education and culture, offering educators exclusive discounts to events such as the Makoti Festival, a vibrant celebration of womanhood and heritage held annually at Malkerns Country Club.
