MANZINI – The 2025 Entrepreneur of the Year Awards (EYA) gala dinner transformed the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre into a dazzling runway of elegance, creativity, and individuality on 7 November 2025.
The evening, graced by His Majesty King Mswati III, members of the Royal Family, and distinguished guests, celebrated not only business excellence but also the vibrant artistry and cultural sophistication that define Eswatini’s fashion scene.
From the moment guests stepped onto the red carpet, it was evident that this year’s event was as much a celebration of style as it was of entrepreneurship. Eswatini gospel sensation Shekinah Motsa captivated the crowd in a stunning silver-grey gown designed by Mamakatessa. Accessories played an essential role in defining the night’s glamour. Glittering earrings, elegant clutches, statement necklaces, and luxury watches added touches of refinement to every ensemble. The footwear, ranging from sky-high heels to polished leather shoes, completed the looks with a perfect balance of comfort and class.

The highlight of the evening came when Duncan Dlamini, Director of DJD Investments, was announced as the 2025 Entrepreneur of the Year. As he walked onto the stage to receive the award from His Majesty King Mswati III and OACPS Secretary-General Moussa Saleh Batraki, the audience erupted in applause. Fireworks lit up the Manzini sky, marking a moment of triumph for Eswatini’s thriving entrepreneurial community.
