LOZITHA— Deputy Prime Minister Thulisile Dladla has urged Emaswati to continue praying for His Majesty King Mswati III, asking God to preserve his life and grant him many more years of leadership in peace and prosperity.
She delivered the message during the year-opening prayer service held at Mandvulo Hall, where government officials, church leaders and members of the public gathered to dedicate the year to God.
While introducing His Majesty to address the congregation and share a sermon, Dladla described him as the “Bishop of Bishops,” a royal title given by the Queen Mother to reflect his spiritual leadership over the nation.
She said the country remains united in prayer, asking for strength, wisdom and long life for the King as he continues guiding the nation. She also prayed for Eswatini to remain peaceful and stable under God’s protection.
The prayer service marked the spiritual start of the year, with Emaswati encouraged to remain strong in faith and united in their commitment to peace and national development.
