MBABANE – For local artist Sanele ‘Sayz’ Shongwe, the best place to connect with others is not under the bright lights of a club or in the busy corridors of a mall, but within the peaceful surroundings of nature.
Released on February 12, 2026, the talented singer’s latest single, titled “Outside,” offers a fresh perspective for those who find peace in the outdoors. The song explores the desire to step away from crowded public spaces and enjoy time in the fresh air, away from the busy energy of the city.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, Sanele Shongwe shared that the song was written to highlight the value of spending time in the woods, on mountains, and by streams.
“As a person who admires nature, I thought I should express my feelings on this song. For some people, it is more rewarding to spend time in quiet, natural spaces than in the typical public spots we see every day,” the artist explained.
The song captures a feeling of freedom and comfort that is often hard to find in busy environments. “It is better to go where it feels free, with no crowds that might make someone feel uneasy. This is where my inspiration lies,” he added.
To bring this vision to life, Shongwe worked with a team of respected local professionals. The track was produced by Hills Nation, a group known for creating high-quality soundscapes.
